Hey! I’m DJ Warm Advice, and I’m really glad you’re here.

Before I became a DJ, I spent over 10 years working in the tech world, leading Customer Experience teams and training dozens of people at fast-moving startups.

My job was helping humans learn new skills, solve problems, and feel confident doing things they’d never tried before. Turns out… that’s the same thing I do as a DJ!

Why I Made BEATCAMP

BEATCAMP started as an 18-page printed manual I made for my nephew so he could learn how to DJ at home. It was simple, colorful, and full of little challenges. No pressure. No grades. Just buttons, music, and curiosity.

That little manual kept growing; it turned into Missions. Then lessons. Then an entire web-based app.

I wanted to build a space where:

  • Junior DJs have a safe place to learn DJing without pressure

  • Curiosity matters more than perfection

  • You’re allowed to try, fail, laugh, and try again

  • Mistakes are part of the fun

  • Learning feels like play, not homework

How I Teach

My teaching style is:

Hands-on (you learn by doing)
Human-first (mistakes are part of learning)
Fun on purpose (because fun helps your brain remember)

I believe in:

Making mistakes,
Trying again,
Learning from “oops” moments,
Celebrating small wins,
And that if you’re not messing up sometimes, you’re probably not learning.
