BEATCAMP is a kid-friendly DJ education platform designed to teach real music skills in a safe, ad-free environment. We take privacy seriously, especially for children.
This policy applies to all BEATCAMP experiences, including:
- Websites: beatcamp.app and beatcamp.online
- All BEATCAMP games and apps that link to this policy
- Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) installed from our sites
- Desktop / computer use in modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.)
If a BEATCAMP feature, game, or app has additional privacy details (for example, a school pilot addendum), those details will supplement this policy.
- Trusted Grown-Up Accounts: parents, guardians, teachers, or administrators
- Junior DJ Accounts: child accounts created and managed by a Trusted Grown-Up
Junior DJ accounts are designed to be kid-first and low-identity: no email required, no social features, and no public profiles.
Trusted Grown-Ups
- Name and email address (or school/organization email if applicable)
- Login credentials (stored securely)
- Subscription status and billing metadata (not full card numbers)
- Support communications and feedback you send us
- Administrative settings (for example: permissions, linked Junior DJ accounts)
Junior DJs
- DJ name / username (chosen by the Trusted Grown-Up or Junior DJ)
- Login method (PIN or token stored securely)
- Learning progress and achievements (missions completed, badges, practice activity)
- In-game preferences that support learning (e.g., selected lessons, accessibility options)
When you use BEATCAMP on a computer, tablet, or phone (including when installed as a PWA), we may collect limited technical information to keep BEATCAMP secure and working correctly.
- Device type and operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS, iOS, Android)
- Browser type and version
- App context (browser vs. PWA installed mode)
- Basic performance diagnostics (crash reports, error logs, load times)
- Approximate region inferred from IP for security and fraud prevention (not precise GPS)
We use this information to improve stability, troubleshoot issues, protect accounts, and prevent abuse. We do not use it for behavioral advertising.
BEATCAMP uses minimal cookies and/or local storage to provide core functionality such as:
- Keeping you signed in and maintaining sessions
- Remembering settings and preferences
- Saving progress and mission checkmarks (where applicable)
- Security features such as preventing unauthorized access
We do not use third-party ad cookies for targeting, and we do not sell cookie data. Some browsers let you block cookies and storage; if you do, parts of BEATCAMP may not work correctly.
We use information we collect to:
- Provide and operate BEATCAMP (accounts, lessons, missions, progress)
- Keep BEATCAMP secure and prevent fraud or abuse
- Provide customer support and respond to requests
- Improve our games and learning experience (bug fixes, performance improvements)
- Process subscriptions and manage billing (Trusted Grown-Ups only)
We do not use children’s data to build marketing profiles or to target advertising.
BEATCAMP is designed to support compliance with COPPA. Junior DJs cannot create accounts on their own. Trusted Grown-Ups control account creation, access, and deletion for child accounts.

We share information only when it’s necessary to run BEATCAMP, provide support, comply with law, or protect BEATCAMP and its users.
Service Providers
We may use trusted vendors to host the service, store data, deliver emails, or provide analytics and error reporting. These providers are permitted to process data only to provide services to BEATCAMP and must protect it.
Legal & Safety
We may disclose information if required by law or if necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful requests.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe (Trusted Grown-Ups only). BEATCAMP does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may process billing details according to its own privacy policy.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data integrity, and keep accounts safe.
Trusted Grown-Ups are responsible for keeping their login credentials private and for supervising Junior DJ access.
We retain information only as long as needed to provide BEATCAMP, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- Trusted Grown-Ups can request account deletion at any time.
- Trusted Grown-Ups can request deletion of Junior DJ data linked to their account.
To request deletion, email beatcamp@warmadvice.com. We may need to verify the requester’s identity before completing the request.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your information. We will respond to reasonable requests in accordance with applicable laws.
You may also control cookies and site data through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies/local storage may affect core features like sign-in and saving progress.
BEATCAMP may be accessed from many locations. If you use BEATCAMP outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed where BEATCAMP or its service providers operate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify Trusted Grown-Ups through the sites or by email.
